- - They interpret 'inclusive' as excluding 2 Dec and say the promo ends on 1st.
They finally refunded my shipping charges after a week of emails explaining to them what 'inclusive' meant and showing screen shots and promotion adverts. However, I had spent time drafting, but not yet sent, an email to my credit card issuer requesting a refund via the chargeback scheme as they constantly denied one was due.
Only auctions that end between these dates (inclusive) qualify for free shipping,' they speak a different language to most English speakers. To them, the word 'inclusive' means 'not including the end date of the 2nd December.' You will get charged shipping on the end date, and no amount of trying to get them to honour their T&Cs works; they will insist that when their T&Cs state 'inclusive' of the 2nd, that means the promotion finishes on the 1st.

I have screenshots to prove that I tried to pay with different cards, and I failed. As it was late, I tried to ring customer services, but no one answered.

- - Jobalots has ongoing bugs since launch, and items unfavourite themselves.
- - Bids with the same amount may be won by later bidders.
Buyer beware. Don't expect Jobalots to honour GDPR or UK consumer law if anything goes wrong, and it will as their website has more bugs in it than an ant hill.
Items constantly 'unfavourite' themselves, leaving you at risk of missing them. A lot of times you will be the highest bidder, but a later bidder can win if they bid the same amount as you (not a higher amount). I've even lost auctions to people bidding lower amounts. The support team is polite but powerless; they are probably an offshore call centre as they mainly reply in the middle of the night and just say they will ask 'the developers'.
They have not resolved any of my issues in 8 months. They do not honour GDPR data access requests, so I ended up reporting them to the relevant authorities (still waiting 3 months on for the data).
Their subscription service with real-time chat is a con; I had the PRO service, and they never once answered the real-time chat. They deny all bugs exist and say it only happens to me, so I would be interested in hearing from others who encounter the same or similar bugs.

Preferred solution: Full admission of bugs with publication of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documents and a commitment to fix them. Full GDPR compliance and refund for all costs (including postage) incurred due to their bugs and failure to comply with UK consumer law.

I really cant reveal all but there is now evidence of a massive security breach either past or present where the system is compromised. I will update as more info comes in but please appreciate due to the communication black out from Mr Lear this is now turning into a criminal investigation.

System errors, the aggressive owner who closes accounts when faults with the system are exposed. Lack of communication.
Lies told about items actually delivered when clearly witnessed as not, and lies to the court attempting to settle prior to court (contempt of court) only unsure how he achieved this after blocking my email and account. Steer clear, there are some really reputable others with the timed down auction out there now - steer clear of these people.

- - Since they changed the IT system, I get emails about non-payment and blocked orders.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They re-opened my account but no communication by telephone and was not able to clear my account which still shows non payment on my file which is not of my doing
Keep blocking my account due to non-payment when it is their system that is causing all the issues. Since they changed the IT system, we get bombarded with emails about non-payment and account being blocked, and you lose your orders because they don't have a clue how to rectify the problem. No one to talk to.

- - The company described the hover as a customer return but in good order; the delivered package had rubbish, no hover, and returns were refused.
The review is about a company names JObalots .I bid on a hover which they described it customer return but in good order. Yesterday the job pallet has been delivered to my home address while I was on job.
On returning home I found there was some rubbish inside the package and was had no hover. I immediately call the company but there Customer services is not ready to listen anything but only good to say that they not accepting any return.
This is ridiculous and the customer should be treated this way. I request you to interfere and either stop them doing this business or give compensation to the effected customers.
